About Us: Mountain Goat Mowing was started in 2005 by Scott Weikle and Tom Jones (former owner of E&T Construction). Our business is named Mountain Goat Mowing because we mow where most others can't go. Exploratory mowing made up much of our early projects. This included investigating properties to locate and mow the areas where uplands could be found in marginal areas. This allowed us an opportunity to become adept at mowing in areas where it is important to preserve the natural environment. Due to higher blade speeds our equipment mulches much better than a bushhog and tractor do, leaving a cleaner finished look. Our front mounted mowing deck allows us to cut lower to the ground than other equipment. We can also raise the deck higher for vine removal, which a bushhog and tractor cannot manage.
